Thickener’s wite water
Thickener’s white water includes white water produced by a thickener when the bleached pulp is transported to the papermaking workshop, white water produced by a thickener when the pulp is damaged in the papermaking workshop, and white water produced by a white water recovery machine.
Bleached pulp is the purpose of the thickener concentration for further removing the residual chlorine in the pulp and beating stable before beating concentration. The white water, besides contain fine fiber contains it also contains residual chlorine after bleaching and washing, and the degrading substances produced during bleaching. These characteristics mixed in the pulp, will produce a large number of foam, residual chlorine content of slurry, which will reduce the use of various additives added in the papermaking process.In particular, it reduces the whitening ability of the whitening agent and the sizing effect of the sizing agent
The purpose of damaged paper concentration is to further stabilize the slurry concentration after mixing.The white water with fine fibers, contains fillers and various additives, and white water concentration is generally around 0.05%.
The white water, produced by the white water recovery machine ,contains fine fibers, fillers and various additives, and the white water concentration is generally in the range of 0.005~0.01%.
Paper machine white water
Usually the flow of white water, mainly refers to the wet part of the paper machine. It’s produced by the network forming dehydration, spraying water. This water is the main body of the paper plant white water.
In the paper making process, more than 95% of the water in the pulp is removed by the mesh. With the formation of the paper, pulp gradually forms a complete filter layer . fine fiber, filler and auxiliary filter amount gradually reduce, and the white water concentration decreases in turn.
According to the height of the concentration, the white water of the net can be divided into thick white water and thin white water. Generally, the forming area at the front of the net (dewatering plate) filter down white water is called concentrated white water, and the concentration of high can be up to 0.3%. The white water produced in the area of high pressure difference dehydration (the roller of vacuum suction box) is called dilute white water, and the concentration of white water in this part is 0.06~0.08%.
The water produced by mechanical pressing, includes the water for wet blanket and the high-pressure water for cleaning, Both they contain the wool shed by the pressing of the blankets.
Paper Waste Water
The waste water of papermaking plant refers to the sum of the part of white water that cannot be reused or used up and must be discharged from the plant, which mainly includes the following kinds
1. The intermittent slag discharge of the slurry sieving machine and the slag discharge of the tapered slag remover at the end. This part of white water with a large amount of slag slurry, includs fine fiber, slag, sand, packing particles, dust and other impurities, with a concentration up to 1.2~3.0%.
2.Blanket washing water. The concentration of this water is very low and contains dirt such as fine fiber filler resin removed from the blanket.
3.Bearing cooling water, pump seal water, this part of the water will generally contain a small amount of oil.
4. The paper machine recycles excess white water that cannot be used up.
The waste water discharged from the above parts cannot be discharged directly into natural waters without treatment due to its high BOD and COD values due to its high content of suspended solids.
